Renowned YouTube streamer Darren “IShowSpeed”is currently embarked on his inaugural IRL (In Real Life) tour across China. As of April 2, 2025, he hosted his fourth live stream within the country, and notably, his first from the vibrant city of Chongqing. The event proved to be a treasure trove of engaging moments, including an exciting collaboration with Chinese actor, martial artist, and stuntman Zhenwei Wang.
A Brief Introduction to Zhenwei Wang
Zhenwei Wang gained international recognition for his role in The Karate Kid (2010), wherein he portrayed Cheng, a formidable rival to Jaden Smith’s character, Dre Parker. Wang’s skill set has led him to work on numerous high-profile Hollywood productions. Notably, he performed as a stuntman in films such as Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021) and Hidden Strike (2023). He is also associated with the iconic Jackie Chan’s stunt crew, further solidifying his credentials in the action film industry.
Exciting Collaboration on Stream
During today’s live streaming session, IShowSpeed and Zhenwei Wang showcased an exhilarating exchange where Wang taught Speed some martial arts techniques. Speed’s spirited reaction to Wang’s demonstration captured the viewers’ attention:
“This is the same sh*t that you did on Jaden Smith. That’s the same sh*t you did on Jaden Smith. Yo, I remember.”
He enthusiastically attempted to mimic the moves, affirming his grasp of the techniques with a chuckle:
“That’s the same sh*t (laughs)…I got it, I got it, I got it.”
Potential Collaboration with Jackie Chan
In addition to Wang, IShowSpeed hinted at a promising collaboration with legendary martial artist and actor Jackie Chan. Chan, who boasts an impressive filmography of over 150 titles, has long been a titan in the entertainment industry. Speed first mentioned this potential encounter on March 28, 2025:
“‘Speed, do you want to meet Jackie Chan?’ That’s in the works, y’all. Me and Jackie Chan is in the works. I’ve got to meet the…chat, Jackie Chan is like the king of China.”
On March 31, 2025, he further amplified the excitement by revealing:

Controversies During the Tour
Despite the overall positivity surrounding IShowSpeed’s tour, he has encountered a few controversial incidents. Some viewers have employed racist humor during his streams, creating uncomfortable situations. For example, during a stream in Chengdu, a cosplayer approached Speed and shockingly claimed she was a “n****r killer.”
This troubling trend has emerged multiple times throughout his tour. In another instance, a fan handed him a banana and made offensive monkey noises, highlighting the recurring issue of inappropriate behavior among some audience members.
