HoYoverse has officially announced that Zenless Zone Zero, an immersive urban fantasy ARPG, will launch on Xbox consoles this June, alongside its much-anticipated 2.0 update. In recent weeks, fans have received a steady stream of updates about the game, including the introduction of new characters in the recently released version 1.6, which featured the S-rank character, Anby.
The excitement continues as players eagerly await the arrival of update 1.7, which will delve into the narrative of the Mockingbird faction—a group of skilled thieves. This update introduces two new playable characters: Hugo, who specializes in ice attacks, and Vivian, an ether anomaly agent. Players will have the chance to obtain these characters through limited-time banners following the update’s launch on April 23.
Zenless Zone Zero’s Xbox Showcase Highlights New Content for 2.0 Update
During a special livestream, HoYoverse provided fans with a sneak peek at the upcoming 2.0 update, even confirming the game’s launch on Xbox. The highly anticipated release, slated for June, will be available on Xbox Series X/S and will reward Game Pass Ultimate members with exclusive in-game bonuses. Fans can expect enhanced graphics, including full HDR support and DirectX ray tracing, elevating the visual experience of this already stunning game.

Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will also benefit from Xbox Cloud Gaming support for Zenless Zone Zero on its release. This version will feature customized controller feedback to enhance combat gameplay, creating a more immersive experience. The Xbox spotlight also hinted at the unveiling of a new area, the Waifei Peninsula, where players will embark on fresh adventures when the 2.0 update rolls out this summer.
