Youn Yuh-jung recently had an interview for the movie “Dog Days” at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
“Dog Days” tells about various people, from a successful architect, an MZ rider, single men & women and novice parents, who feel lonely even when being alone or being with someone else meeting special friends. Youn Yuh-jung appears in this film as Min-seo, a world-renowned architect.

Revealing that she has no goal or a specific character she wants to play, Youn Yuh-jung shared, “Whenever I get a role, I tend to research how to do it differently. Isn’t it strange to just sit down and say, ‘I want to play a role like Song Hye-kyo did’? It’s a little weird to say, ‘I hope I can play a character I like’.”
Of course, having no goals does not mean she lacks passion for acting. Youn Yuh-jung confessed, “I can’t stand insincere people” , adding that acting has become part of her daily routine for a long time.
Youn Yuh-jung added, “I really like the story of someone who answered ‘Practice’ when asked for directions like ‘How to get to the Broadway?'” . Indeed, “practice” is the word that best describes Youn Yuh-jung’s acting career.
“Dog Days” will premiere on February 7th.
