Episode 3 continued the storyline from the previous episode and highlighted Onimaru’s drastic transformation into an Oni, showcasing his new demonic features, including horns that signified his new dark power.

The narrative shifts to the following day, where a confident Yaiba, buoyed by his earlier victory, faces off against Onimaru once again. However, he falters when confronted by Onimaru wielding a significantly more dangerous blade.

In a stunning turn of events, Onimaru defeats Yaiba using the Fujinken’s wind-manipulating abilities. Later, Yaiba discovers the Raijinken, the only sword capable of standing against Onimaru’s newfound strength. Together with Sayaka, he embarks on a quest to find Miyamoto Musashi, the guardian of the Raijinken for generations.

Eventually, Yaiba retrieves the Raijinken from its pedestal, becoming its rightful wielder despite his initial lack of self-confidence. This unleashes the sword’s spirit, which temporarily takes control of Yaiba’s body until Miyamoto intervenes.

Although Yaiba struggles to master the Raijinken, Miyamoto takes him under his wing, pledging to train him into a formidable swordsman. The episode concludes with Onimaru sensing the awakening of the Raijinken and plotting to obtain the second demonic sword.
