The highly anticipated Wuthering Waves 2.2 update is on the horizon, introducing an exciting new character: the 5-star Havoc resonator, Cantarella. The recent livestream event provided an in-depth look at her gameplay mechanics and kit, alongside announcements regarding returning characters. Notably, Cameylla and The Shorekeeper will also make a comeback in this latest patch from Kuro Games.

New Characters and Rerun Banners in Wuthering Waves 2.2
Introducing Cantarella
During the livestream dedicated to Wuthering Waves 2.2, it was confirmed that Cantarella will be the sole new resonator introduced in this update. As a 5-star Havoc character, she wields a Rectifier and is designed primarily as a support role. Her unique abilities allow her to execute coordinated attacks alongside the DPS characters and offer healing support to the whole party.
Cantarella is scheduled to debut in the first half of version 2.2, officially launching on March 27, 2025. Additionally, players can look forward to acquiring her signature weapon, Whispers of Sirens, which will be available on the weapons banner during the same period.

In the recent livestream, Kuro Games confirmed that Cameylla and The Shorekeeper will feature in limited-time banners during version 2.2. Cameylla, a formidable damage dealer of the Havoc category, will be available in the first phase, while The Shorekeeper, known for her exceptional healing abilities, will return in the second phase.
As for the rerunning of 4-star resonators, characters such as Danjin, Chixia, and Yuanwu will have increased drop rates on the banners featuring Cantarella and Cameylla. Conversely, Aalto, Sanhua, and Baizhi will have enhanced chances of appearing on the Shorekeeper’s banner in the latter half of the update.
