Fortnite’s 28.10 update reintroduces the Anvil Launcher after a lengthy break.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 has been a monumental uptaking for Epic Games, as the newest season introduced content to every corner of the game. Three new modes — LEGO Fortnite, Festival, and Rocket Racing —have joined the stacked Battle Royale, along with new cosmetics, map changes, and much more.
The patch, 28.10, ups the ante with a huge array of bug fixes across said modes and new content for players to explore. One of the “newest” additions is a returning item, the Anvil Launcher.

Where to find the Anvil Launcher
Thankfully, players won’t have to go through hoops to find the Anvil Launcher. With update 28.10, the Anvil Launcher can be found via ground loot and Chests and is also for sale from Mecha Team Shadow in exchange for Gold Bars.
The Anvil Launcher was originally introduced in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2, with its primary function as an anti-vehicle weapon. Players simply have to equip it, lock on to a target, and the launcher will fire a projectile that shoots vertically and then drops onto its target. It can also target players, with a notification appearing if you’re on the receiving end of the projectile.
There are three rarities — Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The higher rarities provide a steady increase to its damage, reload speed, and damage against vehicles.
