Are you struggling to find where suppressed weapons are in Fortnite?
Fortnite has finally unleashed its massive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in-game event following various teases and mid-season content updates.
The Cowabunga event has brought more TMNT skins, an exclusive event pass, four Mythic weapons, free rewards and even a whole heap of Ooze War Quests. These included thirteen main quests, as well as eight further quests for players to complete and earn Ooze to exchange these for rewards.
One quest that has proved tricky for some players is trying to “Damage opponents with suppressed weapons (500).” However, finding a silenced gun is what players have struggled with.
So, here’s the best way to find yourself a suppressed weapon easily and quickly in Fortnite Chapter 5.
Where to find Suppressed Weapons in Fortnite
In order to find suppressed weapons in Fornite, you will find them as ground loot, as well as inside chests & supply drones, dropped by players, but, the easiest way is to head to a Mod Bench and add the Suppressor attachment to your gun.
Here is all the weapons that you can find suppressed or can add a Suppresor attachment to in Fortnite:
- Striker AR
- Enforcer AR
- Nemesis AR
- Frenzy Auto Shotgun
- Hammer Pump Shotgun
- Hyper SMG
- Ranger Pistol
- Reaper Sniper Rifle

The easiest way to get a suppressed weapon is to land straight at a location that has a Mod Bench nearby, which all locations are shown on the island map above.
Simply just land at one of these areas, where we would suggest landing at one of the further out locations on the map, which should prove to be less populated by players.
Then loot the surrounding areas until you obtain a gun from Ground Loot or a Chest. Defeat all the surrounding NPC enemies/bosses to give you access to the vault, where a Mod Bench can be found.
Interact with the Mod Bench and spend a few Gold Bars on the Suppressor attachment found in the Barrel section to attach it to your gun.
Obviously, if you do happen to find a suppressed gun along the way you will not need the bench. Finally, now you can use your newly suppressed weapon to head into the more populated areas to find enemy players and deal damage till you reach 500 to complete the quest.
If successful, you will have completed the “Damage opponents with suppressed weapons (500)” quest, where you will then receive 300 Ooze.
