Palworld has plenty of features to offer players while they venture into the Palpagos Island. However, the main attraction is catching every Pal there is, such as Tombat. Here are all the locations where you can find this creature in the game.
Pocket Pair’s game took everyone by surprise with its gameplay and quickly became the most-played game on Steam. This new adventure allows players to catch, raise, fight, and even fusion all types of monsters called ‘Pals’.
One of them is Tombat, a Dark-type creature you’ll find once you venture into the Palpagos Island during nighttime. This Pal comes with a very useful Partner Skill called Ultrasonic Sensor, which allows it to use ultrasonic waves to detect the location of nearby Pals. That way you can easily find new creatures to catch or know which routes to avoid if you don’t want to fight.
How to find Tombat in Palworld
This mix between a cat and a bat can be seen early on in the game, mainly between the Plateau of Beginnings and the Grassy Behemoth Hills, but during nighttime. Luckily for players, the purple fire glowing around it will make it easier to spot in the dark.
Other sites you can look for a Tombat include Marsh Island, the Eastern Wild Island, the Forgotten Island, and the Ice Wind Island.
In case you’re searching for a Tombat during the day, you might find it inside caves like the Isolated Island Caverns on the southwest side of the map, near the Sea Breeze Archipelago.
Keep in mind that to raise Tombat’s catch rate, you’ll have to lower its health before throwing your Pal Sphere. As a Dark-type, you can easily deal damage with a Dragon-type Pal, but be careful, as if you kill it, you won’t be able to catch it.
If you want to add it to your base, this creature is a solid addition as it is good for Gathering, Mining, and Transporting too, so everything it harvests, will be taken to the crates.
