Lifmunk is a cute chipmunk-like Grass-type Pal with a very unique ability that involves guns. If you’re planning on adding one to your team or putting it to work in your base, here’s how you can get one around Palworld.
Palworld’s rise to the top as the most-played game on Steam has to do not only with the controversy surrounding Pokemon’s plagiarism, but with its particular and fun mechanics which include survival, farm simulation, and above all the use of cute creatures with firearms.
One of the most iconic ones is Lifmunk, a Grass-type chipmunk Pal that can be found early in the game. This tiny fellow comes with a particular Partner Skill called Lifmunk Recoil, which allows it to jump on the player’s head and shoot a submachine gun.
If you don’t wish to use Lifmunk for fighting, it is a great addition to any base, as even though it’s prone to activities related to its type like Planting and Gathering, it can also help with Handiwork, Lumbering, and Medicine Production.
How to find Lifmunk in Palworld
As one of the game’s most frequent spawns, Lifmunk can be found in plenty of areas walking around waving its fluffy tail.
Since the start of the game, you can encounter this Grass-type Pal very easily. From the Plateau of the Beginnings, walk northwest to the Rayne Syndicate Tower, where you’ll face your first Boss Battle.
Between that spot and the Fort Ruins located northeast, you’ll find plenty of Lifmunks. If you keep on walking from Fort Ruins to Marsh Island, you’ll see even more.
Keep in mind that in order to raise the catch rate of Lifmunk, you’ll have to lower its health before throwing your Pal Sphere. However, because these are early-stage locations, the Pal’s levels are really low, so don’t deal too much damage.
