Is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse streaming on Netflix?
Yes, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is available on Netflix, as part of a deal the streaming giant struck with Sony in April 2021.
Per Variety, the deal stipulates that, from 2022 onwards, “all movies from the various film banners… will stream exclusively on Netflix after their theatrical and home entertainment releases.”
The outlet added that under the deal, Sony films (including Across the Spider-Verse) will stream exclusively on Netflix for 18 months before debuting on other platforms. As Across the Spider-Verse premiered on Netflix on October 31, 2022, it should therefore remain available on the platform until at least April 1, 2025.
After this date, Across the Spider-Verse will also be available on Disney+ thanks to yet another deal – this time between Sony and Disney. The deal grants the House of Mouse the streaming rights to the film once its initial 18-month Netflix run concludes.
Other Disney-controlled services (such as Hulu) might also stream Across the Spider-Verse at this time, too.
