The bond is so strong that the protagonist chooses to continue using the truck even in the cursed town’s unsettling atmosphere. While players cannot exchange the truck for another, enhancements are available that can significantly improve its performance.
Upgrading Your Truck in Promise Mascot Agency
To enhance your truck, players must visit Jose the mechanic located in town. He assigns a quest involving the capture of elusive white fox spirits scattered across designated locations on the map. Successfully capturing these spirits will allow players to unlock various upgrades and functionalities, making their truck more efficient.
This upgrade system not only enriches gameplay but also provides a gratifying sense of progression as players explore the expansive map. There are a total of six upgrades scattered across six locations in Kaso-Machi. Completing all upgrades awards the achievement titled The Sound Of Eurobeat.
Locating Truck Upgrades in Promise Mascot Agency
Players can discover six specific truck upgrades throughout the town, detailed as follows:
- Truck Boost Upgrade: This upgrade enhances the speed boost available to the player and can be located on one of the roads leading toward the mines.
- Truck Speakers: Found near the intersection south of Kaso Shrine, these speakers provide a 2.5% boost to your Mascots’ popularity.
- Truck Trash Collection: This feature allows the truck to drive over trash, cleaning it up and yielding small rewards. It’s located on the road heading northwest from Captain Sign.
- Pinky Launcher: This unique upgrade permits you to launch Pinky at objects, smashing through obstacles to access previously unreachable areas. It’s situated near the Recycle Store intersection.
- Truck Glider Upgrade: This upgrade equips the truck with wings, enabling it to glide over the town. You can find it at the southern end of the town, specifically at the Mountain Summit.
