Many players will find beloved weapons such as the CR-56 AMAX making a comeback, but it’s the newly launched attachments that are designed to expand customization options. Below, we explore all the unique attachments available in Season 3 of both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
SWAT 5.56 Grau Conversion
First on the list of new attachments is the SWAT 5.56 Grau Conversion. This innovative transformation allows players to convert the SWAT 5.56 Marksman Rifle into the popular Grau 5.56 Assault Rifle. Players can unlock this attachment for free through the Season 3 Battle Pass, specifically available as a reward on Page 5. Upon activation, it functions as a Fire Mod attachment for the SWAT 5.56.
Equipping the SWAT 5.56 Grau Conversion enables the weapon to transition into a full-auto Assault Rifle, enhancing mobility and stabilizing both horizontal and vertical recoil. However, players should be mindful of a few trade-offs: the conversion leads to higher gun kick recoil, slightly diminished damage per shot, and a shorter effective range.
SWAT 5.56 Full-Auto Extended Mag
Another crucial addition is the Full-Auto Extended Mag for the SWAT 5.56. This attachment distinguishes itself as it becomes accessible only after equipping the SWAT 5.56 Grau Conversion. It represents the singular extended magazine option while this conversion is active.
The Full-Auto Extended Mag significantly increases the SWAT 5.56’s magazine capacity to 50 rounds, comparable to the Extended Mag II found on other weapons. However, users should be aware that equipping this mag will negatively impact aim-down-sight speed, reload time, and sprint-to-fire speed.
Monolithic Suppressor
Players can also claim the versatile Monolithic Suppressor for free through the Season 3 Battle Pass, located on Page 7. Differing from the previous attachment, the Monolithic Suppressor is compatible with all Black Ops 6 weapons (excluding those in the Special category) and serves as a Muzzle attachment upon unlocking.
This suppressor retains the essential benefit of its counterpart by allowing players to remain off the minimap while firing. Furthermore, it enhances damage range and bullet velocity. However, this powerful tool comes with compromises: it reduces aim-walking steadiness and aim-down-sight speed, which may render it more suitable for Warzone than for Multiplayer action.
C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags
Another exciting attachment available in Season 3 is the C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags, specifically designed for the C9 Submachine Gun. This attachment is linked to the Black Ops Tribute Event and will be offered as a free reward, though the exact requirements for unlocking it remain unclear at this time. Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion
The final attachment unveiling for Season 3 is the Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion, which is exclusive to the Goblin Mk2 Assault Rifle. This conversion is a free reward linked to an upcoming event during Season 3 Reloaded, although specific unlock details are still to be disclosed.
As implied by the name, the Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion transforms the weapon into a fully automatic firearm that unleashes explosive rocket rounds capable of dealing splash damage. However, players should brace for a reduction in fire rate and bullet velocity. Additionally, equipping this attachment will default the weapon to specific Barrel and Magazine attachments, preventing their alteration, and blocking Muzzle attachments.
After the corresponding events conclude, all Season 3 attachments will become available as Armory Unlocks for players who have not managed to acquire them yet.
