xQc Raises Viewbotting Concerns Again During April 2025 Broadcast
During an April 10, 2025, broadcast, popular streamer Felix “xQc”revisited the contentious topic of viewbotting, a claim he initially leveled against several streamers, particularly focusing on the associates of Kai Cenat, including RaKai and Reggie. While he refrained from naming anyone this time, his remarks indicated that he was still scrutinizing the same issue.
xQc expressed skepticism about the authenticity of engagement in certain streams, particularly noting the alarmingly low rates of chat participation among viewers. He articulated his concerns in an emphatic manner:
“I am in the lab, okay? I run the stats, okay? I don’t want to be mad, I’m pointing out something, but when you have a 20% chatter rate, 30% chat rate, bro it doesn’t even matter what you are saying. It’s off the rails!”
He conceded that spikes in viewership can arise from various avenues, such as viral trends on platforms like TikTok; however, he maintained that such surges should not coincide with low active viewer engagement rates:
“Guys, you could be getting views because TikTok went hardcore, this went viral, yeah, cool. But why is the chat rate so bad, though? Why is the active viewer so low, though?”
Revisiting Allegations Against Fellow Streamers
In a prior broadcast on April 9, xQc had scrutinized TwitchTracker statistics related to Reggie, also known as “girlhefunny1x,”inferring that he may have utilized viewbots to amplify his viewer counts. This sparked a discussion with fellow streamer Stable Ronaldo, who inquired for clarification:
“I don’t give a f**k, they’re all viewbotters, I don’t care to say it. People from like a 1K andy to a 20K andy overnight, like I’ve been here before, I’m not f**king stupid, this shit’s bottled out the wazoo.”
Continuing his argument in the recent broadcast, xQc elaborated that every Twitch user logged in while watching a stream is “technically”classified as a chatter. He underscored that many streamers exhibit shockingly low active chat participation rates, stating:
“Everybody is technically a chatter. If you have an account, you’re on PC or mobile, you are a chatter, literally. It’s how it works. When you do chatter stats, a chatter is someone who has an account and is an active viewer. Most of you all are chatters even though you’re not chatting in chat.”
xQc’s Determination Amid Criticism
Despite facing backlash that could label him as a “hater,”xQc remains steadfast in his assertions about viewbotting. He reflected on how his accusations might be perceived:
“I sound like I’m a hater. I look like I’m an obsessed andy, I’m weird and nobody wants to be my friend anymore. If I show you what I got, you’re going to say, ‘Whatever.’ I’m just saying, like, pay attention, that’s all.”
As of now, neither RaKai nor Reggie has responded to these allegations. However, Reggie received some defense from streamer ItsMarkusKing, who suggested that there might be legitimate explanations behind his rise in viewer numbers.
