What enhances the gameplay experience is the flexibility of these Ambitions. Unlike static goals, players have the freedom to alter their ambitions at any stage, ensuring a dynamic and ever-changing gaming journey.
The Significance of Ambitions in Inzoi
At its core, a Zoi’s ambition represents a long-term personal aspiration that dictates their personality and development. Each ambition features a structured three-tier progression framework. Players must complete specific sub-goals to ascend through these tiers, allowing for rich variation in how Zois achieve their desires. For instance, the ambitions titled Stay Healthy and Creative Expression boast multiple paths for advancement, thereby offering players numerous strategies to realize their goals.
It’s important to note that only young adult Zois possess these Ambitions; younger characters, such as children and teenagers, will develop their aspirations as they transition into adulthood. However, while every Zoi starts with a pre-defined ambition, they retain the ability to modify them to reflect evolving goals.
Modifying Ambitions
If a Zoi’s ambition no longer aligns with the player’s narrative, it can be easily adjusted at any time. Players can access the Zoi Card by pressing O or by tapping the character card visible in the bottom right corner of the screen. In the Ambitions section, players can click the pencil icon located at the top right to enter the Edit Ambitions menu, where they can explore various aspirations and select a new one.
Crucially, modifying an ambition does not erase any previous efforts. Should a Zoi decide to revert to an earlier ambition, they will retain their progress instead of starting anew.
