Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket continually enriches its in-game card collection with regular expansions, released every few months. As the list of available cards expands, players are presented with a plethora of options for constructing competitive decks optimized for Player versus Player (PvP) encounters, as well as in-game events and challenges.
The latest expansion, Shining Revelry, marks a significant milestone as it introduces card artwork featuring shiny Pokémon. This is reminiscent of past sets like Paldean Fates and Shining Fates from the traditional Pokémon TCG. With the launch of this expansion, a host of unique Pokémon can now be integrated into deck strategies, seamlessly blending fresh cards with longstanding favorites from earlier editions. One noteworthy addition is Meowscarada, which has emerged as a formidable contender against other ex cards in the current gameplay landscape. Below, we provide a comprehensive guide and card list tailored to help you design the ultimate Meowscarada deck.
Building the Best Meowscarada Deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Meowscarada has quickly risen to prominence as a key player in Grass-Type decks, boasting an impressive 140 HP for a non-ex card. Its attack, Fighting Claws, is capable of inflicting up to 130 damage with the attachment of just two Energy cards. Initially, this attack does 60 damage but can escalate significantly against opponents using ex cards, making Meowscarada a notable threat in a competitive environment that often leans on powerful ace cards in top strategies.
Complementing Meowscarada is Exeggutor ex, which serves as a reliable secondary Pokémon. Given that it’s a second-stage evolution, players can start with Exeggcute and then evolve it into Exeggutor ex while developing Meowscarada on the bench. Notably, Exeggutor ex requires only one Energy to attack, delivering a solid 40 damage at a minimum, reaching as high as 80 damage. This capability is more than sufficient to eliminate most early to mid-game non-ex Pokémon, as well as significantly weaken various opposing ex cards.
This deck is further enhanced with strategic Item and Supporter cards. For instance, Erika provides excellent healing for Grass Types, ensuring that both Meowscarada and Exeggutor ex can remain active in battle longer. Meanwhile, Iono serves to disrupt your opponent’s strategy, complicating their efforts to get key cards into play. Additionally, Giant Cape and Rocky Helmet offer protective measures to sustain Meowscarada and Exeggutor when they are in the active position, while the Leaf card decreases Retreat Costs, facilitating seamless transitions between Exeggutor and Meowscarada during gameplay.
