Twitch Lifts Ban on Jarvis After Four Years as Former FaZe Clan Star Teases Fortnite Return Stream

Jarvis Khattri, the notable British YouTuber and former member of FaZe Clan, has made headlines with his recent unbanning on Twitch after a lengthy suspension lasting over four years. Initially recognized for his expertise in Fortnite streaming, Jarvis faced significant backlash when he was banned for using aim hacks on his account in 2019.

The Epic Games ban followed Jarvis’s decision to feature hacking tools in his YouTube content. Interestingly, just weeks before his Twitch unban, Epic Games announced plans to lift bans on permanently suspended accounts starting in April 2025, which Jarvis welcomed enthusiastically.

On April 7, the StreamerBans bot on X confirmed the reinstatement of Jarvis’s Twitch account. His response hinted at a possible return to streaming soon:

“Perfect timing for the unbanning.”

In a follow-up, Jarvis shared a Fortnite-related photo shortly after the news broke, indicating that he might resume streaming the game on April 8, 2025. He teased:

“Tomorrow could be the day.”

Understanding the Duration of Jarvis’s Ban on Twitch and Fortnite

The saga surrounding Jarvis and his bans has captivated the gaming community, primarily due to its complexity and Jarvis’s candidness. In September 2019, Epic Games imposed a permanent ban on him after he publicly demonstrated hacks in a YouTube video.

While utilizing an alternate account for the demonstration, his main account was also indefinitely suspended. Initially remorseful, Jarvis appealed to Epic Games for a reversal of the ban. However, by January 2020, he had released a controversial music video titled Banned 4 Life, which evoked mixed reactions from fans and prompted discussions about lifting his ban.

In September 2020, Jarvis announced via X his intention to return to Fortnite streaming almost a year post-ban, stating:

“It’s been nearly a year since Epic banned me. Tonight @ 6PM PST I’m playing Fortnite for the first time back on Twitch. See you there.”

During his live return, he was banned again for evading his earlier ban. Despite these setbacks, Jarvis made multiple attempts to resume Fortnite streaming, which ultimately led Twitch to impose their own ban on him. While the precise reasons for Twitch’s decision remain unclear, speculation suggests that his persistent attempts to circumvent his Epic Games ban violated Twitch’s policies.

Jarvis showed little remorse for either ban, asserting in a February 2021 post that he would continue gaming on YouTube following his Twitch suspension. He boldly challenged Epic Games to impose another ban, declaring:

“Twitch is banned so YouTube link in the next tweet. No facecam this time so good luck banning me Epic.”

Now that Twitch has lifted its ban, it remains uncertain if Jarvis’s Fortnite restrictions have also been lifted. Nevertheless, with Epic Games announcing that permanently banned players could finally return to matchmaking in April 2025, it is highly likely that Jarvis’s Twitch stream for Fortnite could be on the horizon, particularly on April 8.
