The 2023 Music Bank Global Festival has finally commenced, treating numerous K-pop fandoms with exciting performances, collaborations, and many more!
KBS 2023 Music Bank Global Festival: A Two-Part Spectacle Featuring Exciting Stages from Korea & Japan
On December 15, the 2023 Music Bank Global Music Bank Festival G.A.T.E (Globally Assemble, Together Enjoy) was held at the KBS Hall, in Seoul. Instead of holding its annual KBS Song Festival, KBS decided to go global by featuring shows from Korea and Japan.
Part 1 consisted of the Korean show, which was attended by aespa, NCT 127, Sunmi, NCT DREAM, (G)I-DLE, TXT, CRAVITY, DAY6 Young K, Fantasy Boys, fromis_9, MAMAMOO Hwasa, IVE, ONEUS, Xdinary Heroes, xikers, ZEROBASEONE, and RIIZE.
It was also hosted by IVE Jang Wonyoung and Rowoon, who showed unmatched chemistry to the audience and fueled the event’s thrilling atmosphere.
Earlier on December 9, various K-pop stars landed in Japan to perform the pre-recorded Japanese show. The pre-recorded sequence served as the Part 2 of the 2023 Music Bank Global Festival, which was hosted by MCs Go Min Si, Rowoon, and Lee Young Ji.
In the Japanese show, it was attended by artists ATEEZ, BOYNEXTDOOR, THE BOYZ, Golden Girls, ENHYPEN, ITZY, Kang Daniel, ITZY, Kep1er, LE SSERAFIM, Lee Young Ji, MeloMance, NewJeans, NiziU, NMIXX, J.Y Park, P1Harmony, SHINee, STAYC, Stray Kids, and &TEAM.
With the event’s pre-recorded show in Japan and live broadcast of its Korean show, the 2023 Music Bank Global Festival exceeded expectations with its two-part spectacle containing epic performances from big names in the K-pop industry.
