Skateboarding icon Tony Hawk is taking charge of the soundtrack for the highly anticipated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. Hawk acknowledges this change and reveals that he personally curated the new selections, emphasizing an enjoyable experience for fans discovering the updated music.
The announcement of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 followed the success of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, which was well-received in 2020. Official confirmation of the remake arrived in early March 2025, and eager fans won’t have to wait long, as the game is set to release on July 11, 2025.
The first look at the new soundtrack surfaced around mid-March with a Spotify playlist featuring an initial selection of 20 tracks. This playlist recently expanded to include additional songs, blending nostalgic favorites and newer tracks from artists who contributed to the original games. Hawk expressed his enthusiasm on Instagram, stating, “So listen and enjoy the ride… more to come… both old and new.”

Developed by Iron Galaxy and published by Activision, the game prominently features Hawk’s involvement. Recently, there were rumors of a potential roster change, specifically concerning Bam Margera, a controversial figure in skateboarding. Reports suggest that Hawk advocated for Margera’s return to the game, despite development phases being nearly finalized, even suggesting that Margera undergo new body scanning for the character model.

While Hawk has yet to confirm the rumored roster change, anticipation builds as fans speculate that Margera’s inclusion might pave the way for remakes of the Tony Hawk’s Underground series, where Margera had a significant contribution.
