“Tina Knowles Claps Back at Kanye West’s Comments on Beyoncé’s Kids — Netizens React to Her Defense of Grandchildren”

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, has reportedly taken a subtle jab at Kanye West following his controversial remarks about her grandchildren, Rumi and Sir. On March 19, Tina shared a light-hearted video on her Instagram, where she told a humorous joke, seemingly in response to Kanye’s unexpected outburst.

“What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum? He has a meltdown. Y’all know that’s funny!”

This quip appears to directly address Kanye West’s tumultuous comments made the day before, where he targeted various artists, including Beyoncé and Jay-Z, as well as their children. The video was later circulated on X (formerly Twitter) by user @itsKenBarbie.

In the wake of Kanye’s remarks, which referenced Tina’s grandchildren in a derogatory context, social media users expressed their support for Tina Knowles. One user (@Ti_SuchaLady) humorously noted that Kanye had provoked a reaction by mentioning her grandkids, advising him to be cautious of Beyoncé’s sister, Solange. This reference is notable given Solange’s public altercation with Jay-Z in an elevator in 2014.

“I mean he coming for her grand babies, the gloves are officially off. He better watch out for Solange,”they quipped.

The backlash against Kanye’s remarks stirred further discussion, with users speculating about his state of mind. One individual (@mztrickalot313) proposed that his erratic behavior might stem from substance abuse.

“God got this is an old school HOODOO saying for ‘I’m gonna put you in a pot and watch your downfall in GOD’S name.’ Get to it, Ms. Tina.”
A netizen wrote on X.

“He has to be on something because nothing else can explain all this irate behavior & disrespect but drugs. I know a powder head when I see one and he sure got the signs.”
Another X user commented.

“I’d do the same — me and mine too, so go in on ‘em Mama Tina!!”
Another supporter added.

Many other users echoed their support for Knowles’ response, praising her poised demeanor. One user (@kylerbelike) noted that Tina appeared to have endured a significant amount over the years.

“This is that mature woman shade. I love the way she carries!”
A netizen expressed.

“You can tell she’s fed up. This mother has had to endure a lot.”
Another observer remarked.

“It’s the head shake for me at the ‘meltdown’ part. PERIOD TINA.”
Another netizen commented.

On March 18, Kanye West unleashed a tirade regarding Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s seven-year-old children, Rumi and Sir, in a now-deleted tweet. He made unfounded claims, asserting they are kept out of the limelight due to alleged intellectual disabilities.

“HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN JAY-Z AND BEYONCE’S YOUNGER KIDS? THEY’RE R***RDED. NO, LIKE LITERALLY, AND THIS IS WHY ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION IS SUCH A BLESSING. HAVING R***RDED CHILDREN IS A CHOICE.”

Following the backlash, Kanye issued an apology on March 19, expressing his affection for Jay-Z and Beyoncé. He described feeling isolated within the music industry and the need for more support from them during his split from Kim Kardashian.

“I LOVE JAY-Z AND I DO FEEL BAD. I ALWAYS FELT LIKE THE BLACK SHEEP LIKE I WANTED FAMILY IN THIS MUSIC SH*T.”

He also articulated feelings of abandonment, claiming Jay-Z and Beyoncé did not help him against the perceived dominance of the Kardashian family.

“I FELT LIKE BOTH HIM AND HIS WIFE COULD HAVE HELPED ME HAVE MORE LEVERAGE WITH MY KIDS; THEY COULD HAVE USED THEIR CULTURAL POSITION TO NOT JUST WATCH THE KARDASHIANS RUN ME OVER. SH*T HURTS SO F*CK BOTH OF THEM CAUSE WHEN I NEEDED THEM, IT WAS F*CK ME.”

In related news, Billboard has confirmed that Tina Knowles is set to release her memoir, Matriarch, on April 22. Following this, she will embark on a nine-city book tour alongside former First Lady Michelle Obama, commencing on April 30.
