Fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, particularly those eagerly awaiting GTA 6, have grown increasingly frustrated with Rockstar Games’ extended silence. Initially, many expected the release of a second trailer or at least a selection of screenshots by this point. Lacking any official announcements, the fan community has taken it upon itself to foster excitement about the upcoming title. A notable contribution came from user @GTASixJoker, who shared three unofficial screenshots styled after the iconic animation of The Simpsons, humorously implying that the series had somehow foreseen the release of GTA 6.
“No way the simpsons predicted GTA 6”
The Simpsons is well-known for its uncanny ability to anticipate real-world events, often in a tongue-in-cheek manner. While it’s unclear if @GTASixJoker originated these screenshots, the post certainly attracted attention within the gaming community. Another user, @ronflexrondou, expressed admiration for these creative interpretations.
Conversely, user @Mobomike raised a question regarding the hair color of Lucia, one of the protagonists in GTA 6, as depicted in one of the screenshots.
Some skeptics among the X users suggested that these images were merely the product of AI generation. Notwithstanding this skepticism, another fan, @StriX960, found the images intriguing, regardless of their origins.

It’s been over a year since Rockstar Games presented any fresh content related to GTA 6. During a recent interview with Bloomberg’s Wall Street Week, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive, provided insight into the studio’s marketing strategy, which may explain the lack of promotional materials for the title.
Take-Two CEO Discusses Marketing Strategy and GTA 6
In the interview, Zelnick explained that they prefer to unfold their marketing strategies closer to a game’s release date. This approach likely clarifies why fans have yet to see a second trailer or any new screenshots for GTA 6.
Currently, GTA 6 is projected for release in Fall 2025. While that date may seem far off, the anticipation of new details about this highly anticipated game is certainly building excitement among fans.
GTA 6 marks the first installment in the franchise since 2013’s GTA V. Although it has been officially announced for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, a PC version is also on the horizon, with some fans hoping for a Nintendo Switch 2 adaptation, despite this possibility seeming less likely at present.
