Queen Firefly is a newly introduced trophy in The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, featured in the latest update that brings new characters into the game. This trophy specifically relates to Marlene, the iconic leader of the Fireflies, and acquiring it may prove challenging on your initial attempts. Unlike typical trophies that center around item collection, this particular achievement is combat-focused, offering a thrilling yet demanding experience.
Unlocking the Queen Firefly Trophy

To achieve the Queen Firefly trophy, players are required to eliminate 15 enemies using Marlene’s specialized assault rifle in a single run. Within the challenge titled No Return, there are six encounters, but not all modes present a high enemy count or sufficient ammunition for your rifle.
When you select Marlene from the character options, prepare to begin your run with only 10 bullets at your disposal. The assault rifle is known for its remarkable power, yet it also has substantial recoil, which can lead to missed shots. It’s capable of dispatching infected enemies, human foes, and even armored Rattlers at a distance.
Strategies for Success
Regardless of which challenge you engage with first, enemies will not exceed a count of 10 until you venture deeper into your run.
For optimal results, consider attempting this trophy challenge on the easiest difficulty. This setting significantly increases the spawn rate for ammo while reducing enemy aggression.

Targeting runs filled with infected enemies is ideal as they are generally less resilient and won’t attack from a distance, unlike many WLF, Seraphites, and Rattlers.
Conserve your ammunition in the earlier rounds since resources can run low. To minimize waste, enable the target lock feature in the game settings. This tool will automatically focus your sight on enemies, which is particularly useful for quick-moving enemies like stalkers.
If you find yourself running low on ammo and just a few kills away from the trophy, use items such as bricks or bottles to stun enemies or shoot them in the leg with your handgun to create an opportunity for a clean shot. Engaging them in melee combat can also create distance and give you a tactical advantage. Fortunately, this challenge mode is generous, as enemies frequently drop ammo matching your current weapons.
We advise preserving your assault rifle ammunition by utilizing a mix of other weapons and gadgets to progress through the rounds. Employ stun bombs to immobilize clustered enemies, giving you ample time to make some critical shots.
Attempting to unlock this trophy during Assault or Holdout challenges is strongly recommended. After completing each round in an Assault encounter, make sure to head towards the supply crates to replenish your ammo. As you reach later rounds in the No Return mode, enemy numbers can escalate to a total of 15, creating ample opportunities for this trophy.
The Holdout mode is particularly advantageous, as waves of infected will charge at you, providing easier targets compared to other enemy types. While body shots will work, opting for headshots can be a more efficient strategy since they can take down enemies in a single shot.
