The episode kicked off with Nany and Turbo displaying their fierce determination to win back their star. Previously, three teams were in contention for stars needed to qualify for the final phase of the competition. Da’Vonne Rogers and Shane Landrum secured their star by triumphing in the daily challenge, while Veronica Portillo, Katie Cooley, Melissa Reeves, and Nicole Zanatta were still vying for theirs.

In a strategic move, Melissa and Nicole volunteered to enter elimination against Veronica and Katie, ultimately emerging victorious and claiming Nany and Turbo’s star. Nany expressed her frustration over this loss, asserting her refusal to be cornered by her opponents.

“I’m upset and I’m hating right now. These people have done everything they possibly can to back me into a corner. I will never back down,” said Nany.

The episode featured a daily challenge called ‘Pressure Sandwich,’ where partners navigated a forest while holding puzzle pieces. Along the way, they collected additional pieces and had to assemble a puzzle without dropping any outside designated safety zones. Frank and Sam performed exceptionally well, reaching the puzzle station first and ensuring their safety.

As the competition unfolded, tensions flared due to Shane’s unpredictable behavior. Da’Vonne voiced her concerns to Frank, expressing her feelings about Shane’s problematic demeanor. This triggered a defensive reaction from Shane, leading to an emotional confrontation. Adam, seated with the group, stepped in during the escalating exchange.

“I think the problem is my partner, even at his age, seems to think that being a villain on television is a cool thing,” stated Da’Vonne.

Despite Shane attributing his reactions to fatigue and frustration, Da’Vonne found herself overwhelmed to the point of tears. Shane labeled her a “stressful partner”while insisting she always played the victim, further complicating their working dynamic. In a moment of extreme frustration, Shane threatened to exit the competition to prevent Da’Vonne from advancing.

Turbo, observing the chaos, remarked on the situation, labeling everyone as “snakes.”After a heated exchange, Shane eventually apologized to Da’Vonne, who accepted his apology but emphasized the need for him to reflect on his behavior. Ultimately, the two reconciled, and Shane chose to remain in the competition.

The house voted in Nany and Turbo for elimination, fulfilling their request. Frank and Sam opted to face Adam and Steve in the elimination challenge named ‘Star Bluff.’ This challenge comprised two segments; the first sought to test the teams’ ability to read their opponents’ reactions concerning a mystery box, while the second involved using large sticks to maneuver yoga balls into a safe zone. Due to their one-point advantage, Adam and Steve triumphantly won the elimination, securing their fifth victory of the season.

As a result, Nany and Turbo were officially eliminated, finishing their journey as the ninth pair to leave the competition.
