Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will let players into the notorious group to try and save Metropolis, but who can you play as and who is coming in the future? Here’s what we know.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the first time players will jump into the shoes of the forced-to-do-good-villains supergroup. The mischievous charm of the group has obviously been well-trodden in films and comics but this is the first time players will be able to get their hands on them in a video game space.
The big hook of the game is that you’ll get to play in a team of four, be they AI, or co-op, tearing your way through Metropolis to kill Brainiac’s minions, and of course, the Justice League.
However, as most people will know, the Suicide Squad is an ever-changing group of rogues that can be massive or have completely different rosters from iteration to iteration. So it begs the question – who do you get to play as in the game?
Every playable character in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Here is a list of every playable villain in the game, from the clown princess of crime, to… well, a shark.
Harley Quinn

Harley is almost undoubtedly the most famous member of the Suicide Squad, and that’s true for Rocksteady’s title. This is the same version of Harley from the Batman: Arkham games, who’ll be making quite the turn of trying to save the world, rather than being worried about getting revenge on Batman.
King Shark

King Shark is making his debut in a game from this universe. A version of King Shark appeared in the canon Assault on Arkham, but he also died in that version. It’s believed that the one we see in the game is his son as established in the comics but the continuity is a little fuzzy.
King Shark is said to be surprisingly intelligent for a sharkman, but he seems to be quite naive and gullible too.
Deadshot

Deadshot is known as an exceptionally effective assassin in the Arkham universe. He’s definitely the most straight-faced and serious member of the crew, but that also makes him a very effective killer. He has a specific beef with Green Lantern here which will be a tough foe to beat, but as everyone says about him – he never misses.
Captain Boomerang

Captain Boomerang is one of the most confrontational and crass members of the Suicide Squad. The Australian is foul-mouthed, drinks a lot, and is always looking for a fight. That’s why it’s a bit sad for him that he’s been defeated and imprisoned by The Flash, many, many times. That said, it gives him plenty of reasons to finally best his nemesis
Upcoming characters in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Here are all the upcoming characters coming to the Squad in the future as DLC, with multiple already planned to come in future seasons.
Joker

This is a very interesting addition to the Suicide Squad, especially in the Arkhamverse. The Joker’s story in this continuity has been well and truly told, and Rocksteady isn’t bringing Mark Hamil’s iconic version back.
Instead, this is a new version of the Joker made possible by the use of the multiverse. This Elsewhere version is said to be a little more unsure of himself, but he’s also more team-orientated as he was in the Suicide Squad back in his universe.
