Disney+ Launches 24/7 Streaming of The Simpsons
On Tuesday, Disney+ expanded its offerings with the introduction of a dedicated, round-the-clock streaming service for all 35 completed seasons of the hugely popular animated series, The Simpsons. Notably, the 36th season is currently in airing.
This continuous stream of America’s longest-running animated show is a treasured dream come true for millions. Since its premiere in 1991, The Simpsons has aired Sunday nights, endearing itself to viewers with its unique blend of satire and clever humor. Its impact has been profound, embedding the show’s wit into the very fabric of American pop culture. Since 2020, fans have had unrestricted streaming access to episodes on Disney+, allowing them to relive their favorite moments.
Now, both loyal fans and newcomers can enjoy an effortless viewing experience. With over 767 episodes organized to play in chronological order, Disney+’s new service offers nearly 300 consecutive hours of content featuring the iconic Simpson family.

Matt Selman, the showrunner for The Simpsons, added that this new streaming option promises an “all day, every day” marathon. “No matter when you tune in, this ultimate The Simpsons binge will be there,” he stated.

The launch of the The Simpsons stream is part of a broader trend on Disney+ towards non-stop playlists of premium content. These playlists resemble channels with curated programming available for subscribers, and they are refreshed monthly to maintain engagement.
Existing premium subscribers can also explore the platform’s “Hits & Heroes”collection, which features thrilling narratives from popular franchises. Additionally, the “Throwbacks”section offers a nostalgic pop culture experience, while “Real Life”showcases traditional documentaries and true stories. For those interested in current events, Disney+ provides a stream from ABC News, featuring live broadcasts, breaking news, and significant events, as well as Disney+ Playtime, catering to younger audiences with beloved classics.
