Inzoi offers a captivating array of career paths that reflect real-world opportunities, with esports standing out as one of the most intriguing. This dynamic avenue allows players to immerse themselves in online gaming while building a reputation and striving to achieve legendary status. Just like in life, players can face defeat or rise through the ranks to claim their place among the greats.
This article will guide you through the steps to becoming an esports athlete in the virtual universe of Inzoi.
Essential Requirements for an Esports Career
Embarking on an esports career within Inzoi can pose challenges. To enhance your chances of triumph, you need to meet several key prerequisites before seeking a role as a professional gamer.
Location
To pursue a career in esports, you must reside in Dowon City. If you’re not currently living there, you can relocate using the editor feature.
Age
This career is a demanding full-time commitment. Therefore, only young adults, adults, and middle-aged Zois can apply, while teenagers are ineligible due to their restriction on full-time work.
Programming Expertise
A minimum programming skill level of 10 is suggested for aspiring esports professionals. You can enhance your skill through various means such as using tablets or computers to engage in coding, enrolling in courses, or even through gaming. If digital access is limited, traditional learning through programming literature is always an option.
Choosing the Right Traits
When creating your Zoi character, selecting the right Trait is crucial for success in esports. It’s important to choose wisely, as each Zoi can only possess one Trait, which is permanent.
- Perfectionist
- Leader
- Go-getter
Preferences Matter
Unlike Traits, preferences can be modified anytime from your Zoi’s profile. Make sure to include the following preferences for improved outcomes:
- Gaming
- Coffee
- Self-help books
Steps to Become an Esports Athlete in Inzoi
To initiate your esports career, open your Zoi’s phone by pressing ‘P’, navigate to the Careers App, select DG Esports, and apply for the position of Amateur Gamer. This marks the beginning of your gaming journey.
Once hired, your Zoi will work three days a week. It’s essential for your Zoi to be well-rested and properly nourished before each work shift. A reminder pop-up will appear when it’s time to start, and you’ll need to select “Go to Work.”

Advancement and Earnings
Promotion to the rank of Pro Gamer is relatively straightforward; simply work six consecutive shifts without absences. Once promoted, your salary will increase significantly from 264 meows to 864 meows.
Beyond Pro Gamer, there exists a tier known as Legendary Gamer. However, due to Inzoi still being in early access, progress tracking for this rank may be problematic, so it’s advisable to wait until this issue is resolved.
Career Events and Decision-Making
During your shifts, you may encounter critical situations requiring swift decision-making, with only 30 seconds to act before your Zoi makes a default choice. Since these decisions involve high stakes, staying alert is essential to advance in your career.
Note that the esports career path does not currently involve active gameplay during shifts. However, given Inzoi’s status in early access, future updates may enhance this aspect of gameplay.
