Lee Young-ae, who will return to the small screen after 2 years with tvN’s “Maestra: Strings of Truth” on December 9th, recently appeared on a YouTube show and revealed that she had concerns about her appearance during the “Dae Jang Geum” time.

She said, “At that time, I was thirty-three. I was worried a lot about my appearance back then. Because there were so many crying scenes, my face was swollen a lot.”

She added, “It was a very busy time when I couldn’t even take care of my skin. I almost gave up on my appearance and focused only on acting. Looking at it now, I was beautiful back then. At that time, I didn’t even do monitoring, but now, at my age, I think I was so beautiful. Why did I worry about my appearance back then?”

Ji Chang-wook, who played the lead role in Disney+’s “The Worst of Evil” , made self-deprecating comments about his face through a web entertainment show.
