Sprite Launches Exclusive Chill Strawberry Kiwi Flavor at Walmart: Everything You Need to Know

Sprite has launched an exciting new flavor, Chill Strawberry Kiwi, which is now part of its dedicated Chill lineup. This exclusive flavor will be available solely at Walmart stores, starting from March 17, 2025.

Originally introduced in Germany in 1961, Sprite began as a clear lemon-lime beverage. Over the years, it has expanded its flavor range to include varieties such as cranberry, cherry, and grape. The Chill lineup was debuted last year and officially cemented as a permanent addition to Sprite’s offerings earlier this year.

Unveiling Sprite’s Chill Strawberry Kiwi Flavor

The newly added Strawberry Kiwi flavor features a delightful blend of sweet strawberry and tangy kiwi, promising to deliver a refreshing taste as spring transitions into summer. This product is available in convenient packaging options including 12-ounce cans, 20-ounce bottles, and 12-packs of either size.

Currently, it remains uncertain whether this flavor will have a zero sugar variant. Additionally, while the original Chill lineup has been made a permanent feature, the longevity of the Strawberry Kiwi flavor remains ambiguous—it could be a seasonal offering.

Fans took to social media to express their enthusiasm for the new flavor, reacting positively to its announcement on Snackolator’s Instagram. Some of the comments included:

“Ready for it!! Loved Sprite Chill because it didn’t go flat as quickly as regular Sprite. Excited to see it soon!”

“Sprite is the only soda I’ll get excited over new flavors; Sprite is the best,”another user contributed.

“Definitely gotta try it,”stated another enthusiastic follower.

An Overview of Sprite’s Chill Lineup

The Chill lineup was first introduced in April 2024, marketed as Sprite’s “coldest-est” beverage. Initially released for a limited time, this innovative drink aims to provide customers with a refreshing cooling sensation—without the use of mint.

The original flavor, Cherry Lime, paired with the classic Sprite profile, was so well-received that it became the best-selling innovation for The Coca-Cola Company, generating approximately $50 million in sales within just 21 weeks, as noted by Marketing Drive (via The Sun).

Sprite Brand Director Kate Schaufelberger emphasized in a press release:

“When people think about Sprite, they think about cut-through refreshment. With Sprite Chill, we’re doubling down on these signature intrinsics while continuing our legacy of strategic flavor innovation and quenching fans’ thirst for variety and the exclusive badge value associated with trying and sharing limited-time-only beverages and experiences.”

Furthermore, Feliciti Boucetla, Senior Director of Product Development for Sparkling Flavors, added:

“Consumers today are looking for multisensorial beverage experiences, so we saw a unique opportunity to elevate the crisp, refreshing taste Sprite fans expect with a first-of-its-kind cooling sensation.”

The Coca-Cola Company anticipates that the Strawberry Kiwi flavor will replicate the success of its predecessor, adding another vibrant option for soda enthusiasts.
