South Park Returns for Season 27 This July

It’s been quite some time since viewers have enjoyed a full season of South Park. The previous season, the 26th, aired over two years ago, in February 2023. In the interim, the franchise released special content, including South Park: The End of Obesity in 2024, and South Park: Joining the Panderverse in 2023. Additionally, a TV movie titled South Park: Post COVID premiered in 2021, keeping the spirit of South Park alive during its absence.

Since its debut on Comedy Central on August 13, 1997, following the viral animated short The Spirit of Christmas, South Park has captivated audiences. Created by the talented duo Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the show also features contributions from executive producers Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Producers Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell, and Vernon Chatman, along with creative director Christopher Brion of South Park Digital Studios, help bring the series to life.
