According to Xports News on February 23rd, Song Joong-ki recently filmed his scenes for tvN’s new Sat-Sun drama “Queen of Tears” . The actor is expected to make a short appearance in the middle of the drama.
“Queen of Tears” is the love story of Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won), a chaebol and department store queen, and Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun), Yongdu-ri’s son and a supermarket prince, as they face a crisis and a miracle restart after three years of marriage. The drama stars Kim Ji-won and Kim Soo-hyun.
Song Joong-ki’s cameo appearance is reportedly possible thanks to his close friendship with Kim Ji-won. The two have worked together in two series, including KBS 2TV’s “Descendants of the Sun” and tvN’s “Arthdal Chronicle Season 1” . Moreover, Song Joong-ki and Kim Ji-won have been actors under the same company HighZium Studio since 2022.
Song Joong-ki recently met viewers through Kim Chang-hoon’s film “Hwaran” and his new project, which is the movie “My Name is Loh Kiwan” (director Kim Hee-jin), will premiere on March 1st. His latest drama was JTBC’s “Reborn Rich” (2022), and he’s reportedly reviewing the casting offer for the new drama “MY YOUTH” .
