Warning: Spoilers for Found Season 2, Episode 17 follow! In the latest developments of Found Season 2, actress Danielle Savre has revealed fascinating insights regarding her character’s surprising identity, which she learned directly from her co-star, Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Savre plays Heather Tollin, an attorney whose hidden motives draw her closer to the members of Mosely & Associates (M&A). In a notable twist during Episode 17, it is revealed that she is, in fact, Lena, Sir’s sister, played by Gosselaar, dramatically shifting the narrative’s dynamics.
During an interview with ScreenRant, Savre shared her experience of discovering her character’s true identity. Gosselaar, who also directed Episode 17, informed her on the first day of filming that she was portraying Sir’s sister. Although she had speculated about Heather’s underlying intentions, it was only after Gosselaar’s disclosure that she learned the full scope of her role. She noted that the excitement on set about her character’s reveal added to the suspense.
No, I had no idea. I knew that this character had more than met the eye. I definitely knew there was something there and there were some layers. I thought she was just going to come on as a lawyer because my audition scenes were more lawyer-based. I had a sass and wit and the whole thing, which now I’m realizing, in hindsight, was very much Hugh-esque.
It was like the Trent scene and a lawyer scene. And so I was like, “Oh, maybe they’re going to bring me on to be Trent’s love interest, kind of a love triangle thing, and be a lawyer. But I was like, “There’s definitely more to her than meets the eye.”And then my first day filming, I got done filming with [Brett] Dalton, and they’re like, Mark-Paul [Gosselaar] wants to talk to you. And so he knocks on my trailer door, and he’s just like, “Hi sister.”And I was like, “Oh my God!”
And the crew was also so invested, so they kept telling me, “Do you know who you are? Because I think we know who you are.”And I was like, “Don’t tell me! I don’t want to know! Until NK, the creator, tells me, I don’t want to know!”But it was hard to avoid because everybody had all their predictions and stuff going on, and the scenes just got more and more suspicious and layered. And then she finally let me know, officially, the whole backstory and everything Lena-Heather had done prior to the episode.
Implications of Heather’s Reveal in Found Season 2
Sir’s Accomplice Revealed

The revelation that Savre’s character is, in fact, Lena further validates Margaret’s suspicions regarding Heather’s dubious connections. Throughout the season, Heather, a criminal defense attorney, has developed intricate ties to M&A, despite her history of representing individuals tied to kidnapping. Her romantic involvement with Trent (Brett Dalton) added layers to her character, all while fostering unease within the team about her true motives.
With the confirmation of her identity as Lena, the stakes are raised significantly. This twist not only positions Heather as an accomplice to Sir’s illicit activities but also jeopardizes any trust she previously garnered from her colleagues. Moving forward, the unfolding episodes are likely to be rife with tension as the team grapples with the implications of her deception, especially in regard to her romantic ties with Trent. The question remains: what consequences will arise from her treachery, and could this storyline lead into Season 3 of Found if the series is renewed?
