Beginning the Silly Monkey Quest
Starting Out in the Silly Monkey Quest

Your journey begins along a snowy path, where you’ll need to traverse from one cliff to another. Soon, you’ll encounter a section where swinging from ropes is essential for accessing new areas of the jungle. Initiate this by swinging on the rope to reach a long wooden pole, enabling you to swing towards your next destination. Should you accidentally fall into the water, fret not; the game allows you to respawn at your last position.
Solving the Water Turbine Puzzle

As you press on, a formidable twisted root barrier will block your path. To proceed, activate Mio’s Ape ability to smash through this obstacle. Follow this by addressing a more complex puzzle that requires Zoe’s Treant ability to manipulate a water turbine, enabling Mio to traverse through water to reach the next area.

Start by halting the turbine, which allows Mio to shift into her otter form and dive into the water. Once in position, release the wheel again to let Mio swim to the opposite side. As a duo, they can tackle the next challenge; Mio can revert to her ape form and demolish a block to reveal an entrance to a cave embellished with striking pink rock formations.
Conquering Cave Challenges

Within the cave’s depths, you’ll discover a vast hole requiring Zoe to utilize her agility. By running along the cave walls and transforming into a pixie, she can leap over a pond to safely reach solid ground. Mio should also exploit her otter form, swimming through the pond and hopping onto dry land. Progress by navigating wooden obstacles until you arrive at a frozen lake.
Flower Puzzle Challenge

Next, Mio must swim underwater to activate poles that emerge, allowing Zoe to leap across and progress further. Upon reaching solid ground, Zoe can transform into a treant to maneuver some vines downward, enabling Mio to climb and reach the prominent flower at the center of the pond.

Mio is required to smash this flower while Zoe adeptly jumps onto it. Ultimately, Zoe will use her Treant ability to lift the flower, granting access to another area of the jungle. This segment can prove to be particularly arduous and may necessitate multiple attempts before success. Continue your expedition until you arrive at the entrance of the Monkey King’s domain.
Resolving the Totems Puzzle to Complete the Silly Monkey Quest

At the final destination, you will be tasked with aligning an idol above the gate with three corresponding totems. Here, Zoe will need to harness her Treant power to manipulate the vines, while Mio employs her ape transformation to smash the totems in the correct color order. Completing this task will grant you access through the gate and successfully wrap up the Silly Monkey quest.
