Highlights from the Season 23 Premiere

The premiere episode introduced viewers to Bride Lori, who took the staff by surprise during her visit to Kleinfeld, initially expected to be a routine dress fitting. As her appointment unfolded, Lori revealed a unique twist: she was there to ask Randy Fenoli to officiate her wedding ceremony. The anticipation built as Lori prepared to share her unexpected request with team members and her fiancé, Shay.

This heartfelt moment caught the attention of even the most seasoned staff, including Lori’s friend Janine, who sensed the brewing excitement. Shay expressed his deep affection for Lori and stunned everyone by proposing to have Randy lead their wedding ceremony on the spot. Lori facilitated the moment, referencing Randy’s officiant credentials, paving the way for a memorable off-the-cuff wedding proposal.

“So, Randy, will you say yes to marrying us today?” Lori boldly asked.

Another emotional journey unfolded with Jenna Miller, who attended her appointment accompanied by her mother and friends. As she browsed options, consultant Katherine inquired about her wedding theme. Jenna enthusiastically shared her and her fiancé’s shared passion for baseball, revealing plans for a vintage baseball-themed wedding to take place on a baseball field.

Already having settled on a dress from Kleinfeld, Jenna conveyed her desire to stand out further by sporting a red ribbon laced into her gown, all within a budget of $3,000. Meanwhile, in a heartfelt twist, Dorothy, the Director of Sales and Merchandising, took a leap of faith by trying on her first wedding dress after 25 years of working at Kleinfeld.

In a moment of pure joy, Dorothy expressed how the first dress she tried on felt custom-fitted to her body, expressing her belief that it was “sketched on”for her. “My heart is coming out of my chest. There is no second look now, I think. This is it. I’m wearing this for first look, second look, third look, and fourth look,” she exclaimed, overwhelmed with emotion as she showcased the dress to Estee, its designer. Having worked hard to lose 100 pounds, Dorothy felt “confident and beautiful” in her selected attire.
