Script Hook V Developer Confirms Upcoming Mod Support for Enhanced GTA 5

On March 4, 2025, Rockstar Games unveiled the Enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto V, a release that rendered many PC mods incompatible with the new iteration. However, there is promising news for mod enthusiasts. Alexander Blade, a notable figure behind Script Hook V, has indicated that efforts are underway to adapt this essential mod for the Enhanced version of GTA 5.

Update from Script Hook V Developer on Enhanced Version Mod Support

According to a post by @videotechuk_ on X, Alexander Blade made an announcement on the GTA Forums stating:

“I got the hook working for EN (Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced) version while no texture drawing yet, might take time.”

The Enhanced version of GTA 5 was introduced by Rockstar Games as an entirely separate title, featuring significant improvements below the surface. Consequently, this has led to a widespread lack of support for existing PC mods, affecting gameplay and customization.

In addition, FiveM support is currently unavailable for the GTA 5 Enhanced version. Rockstar has provided reassurance to players that Cfx.re/FiveM RP servers will be compatible with this new release in the future.

Many fans of Grand Theft Auto on PC are keenly tracking how various mod developers will respond to the challenges posed by the Enhanced version and what new modifications may be on the horizon.
