Paramount+ Greenlights Third Season of School Spirits

Paramount+ has officially announced the renewal of its popular young adult mystery series, School Spirits, for a third season. The show stars the talented Peyton List, known for her role in Cobra Kai, as Madison, a high school student who finds herself trapped in a spectral limbo after her untimely death, desperately trying to uncover the truth behind her murder.

Returning Creative Team

This new season is being developed by Awesomeness TV, a subsidiary of Paramount Global that focuses on content for younger audiences. Creative minds Megan Trinrud and Nate Trinrud, alongside showrunner Oliver Goldstick, are returning to build upon the show’s captivating narrative. Fans can expect the new episodes to premiere in 2026.

Impressive Viewership Growth

The decision to renew the series comes on the heels of the Season 2 premiere, which attracted an impressive average audience of 3.9 million viewers within the first 28 days—a remarkable increase of approximately 94% from the inaugural season’s debut. In this season, Maddie continues to haunt the hallways of Split River High School, navigating her existence in both the spectral and tangible realms as she seeks to rally her friends to reclaim her lost life.

Global Availability

Both seasons of School Spirits are currently available for streaming on Paramount+ across multiple regions, including the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, Latin America, and Brazil. However, the second season has yet to be released in territories such as Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Austria.
