Schedule 1: Tips for Expanding Your Home Size

In the immersive narrative of the campaign, players navigate life across three distinct locations in Schedule 1: a van, a motel, and an apartment above a Chinese restaurant. As the storyline progresses, players will inevitably find their current residence insufficient, prompting the need for a larger home.

While players have the freedom to choose their next property, they will eventually outgrow the apartment above the Chinese restaurant. At that juncture, they can attend a local real estate agency to explore property options.

Before accessing the real estate agency, players must make sufficient story progress to unlock the mixing machine. Following this, Uncle Nelson will assign the task of creating an initial mix, leading players to visit three key locations, including Ray’s Real Estate.

At Ray’s, players can select from three available properties:

  • Bungalow – $5,000
    • Maximum Capacity: 5 Employees, 1 Loading Bay
  • The Barn – $25,000
    • Maximum Capacity: 10 Employees, 2 Loading Bays
  • The Docks Warehouse – $50,000
    • Maximum Capacity: 10 Employees, 2 Loading Bays

Effective Strategies for Utilizing New Properties in Schedule 1

How to Get a Bigger House - Schedule 1

The Bungalow serves as an excellent introductory choice for managing operations across two neighborhoods. While it officially accommodates five employees, its limited space may hinder complete automation. Players can efficiently utilize it by hiring at least two employees for planting and packaging tasks.

This property features one loading bay, allowing players to receive ingredient deliveries directly at the Bungalow. The main responsibilities include unloading shipments and managing waste.

It is essential to note that hiring additional staff hinges upon meeting specific story milestones, particularly after crafting a $60 mix. Subsequently, Uncle Nelson will guide players to new merchants operating next to the West Bridge warehouse.

Progressing to The Barn offers a considerable advantage for expanding your operations, significantly enhancing production capacity. However, players should be aware of its remote location, as accessibility could become a challenge without a vehicle. Therefore, acquiring transport before securing The Barn is highly recommended.

Finally, The Docks Warehouse stands as the largest available property in Schedule 1, suited for advanced players. This late-game asset is optimized when fully automated. Though it maintains the same employee limit and loading bays as The Barn, the vast space allows for the organization of distinct production lines, ideally suited for specific materials.

Moreover, previously acquired locations—the apartment above the Chinese restaurant, the motel room, and the Bungalow—remain available, creating additional space for diverse operations in different neighborhoods. These smaller facilities can be advantageous for experimenting with new mixes and creating various products.
