While many of these threats can be evaded, there may be instances that require you to confront them. Thus, having a firearm handy is essential. A gun can be life-saving in critical situations, but indiscriminate use can draw unwanted attention from law enforcement. Furthermore, firearms are exclusively available from a single source within the game.
Locating the Weapons Dealer in Schedule 1
For all your legal supplies and gardening tools, including weapons, head over to Dan’s Hardware shop. However, to purchase firearms, you will need to seek out the Weapons Dealer.
The Weapons Dealer, known as Sten, operates his business from a Warehouse that hosts other essential NPCs as well. Keep in mind that access to this Warehouse is restricted until you achieve Hoodlum V rank and amass at least $10,000 in-game currency.
Once these conditions are met, players can enter the Warehouse between 6 PM and 6 AM. Outside these hours, the entrance remains locked. Once inside, you’ll find Sten on the first floor, ready to assist with your firearm needs.
Purchasing a Gun in Schedule 1
Even after gaining access to the Weapons Dealer in Schedule 1, securing a gun might not be immediately feasible. This is primarily due to limited stock: only two different firearms are available, each requiring you to reach specific ranks to unlock them. Fortunately, a quieter melee weapon is also on offer, accessible immediately upon reaching Hoodlum Rank V.
