In a nostalgic segment, Randy Fenoli revisited memorable moments from previous seasons, highlighting some unique brides he helped along the way. Episode 7 Recap
This episode opened with Randy expressing excitement about reflecting on iconic moments from the series. First up was Nik West, a talented bassist who played with the late Prince. Nik revealed her desire for a gown that was both “over the top” yet “classy.” With the help of consultant Zoey, she aimed to embody her vision of becoming a “purple unicorn.”
“Something that can convert from me being at a wedding… So, I want something that has a bell bowl gown, like, something that detaches and there’s like this catsuit one piece,”said Nik.
In an engaging twist, Nik even livestreamed her dress selection, allowing her fans to participate in the decision-making process. Ultimately, she chose a stunning modified white catsuit dress, garnering enthusiastic approval from her family and supporters.
Drag Queen Duo Gets Fabulous Dresses
The episode then transitioned to a touching segment featuring two drag queens, Carl and Gary, preparing for their wedding. With a desire for dresses that matched their dramatic personalities, they enlisted the help of renowned designer David Emanuel, all while working within a budget of $1,500.
The storyline shifted once more to brides with unconventional tastes. Randell Golman sought a wedding outfit that resembled a jumpsuit rather than a traditional dress. Accompanied by her mother and future mother-in-law, Randell navigated various styles, all while expressing a desire for comfort during the ceremony.
“I’m gonna be honest with you… So far, I haven’t run into any jumpsuit that I would recommend for her,”stated a concerned Randy.
Despite initial reservations, particularly from her mother, Randell’s determination and vision culminated in a winning design, with designer Hayley bringing her concept to life on paper which ultimately swayed her family’s opinion.
