Finding Vault Core #1
Upon entering the Vault, navigate strategically to avoid fire traps and combat the Vault Guardian situated in the northern room. Explore the surrounding areas to gather resources:
- The room to the east holds Rune Essence and several Stone Boulders.
- To the west, a treasure chest awaits behind two Giant Rats.
- Proceed north to confront four additional Vault Guardians, all protecting the first Vault Core.
Locating Vault Core #2
After securing the first Vault Core, proceed through the door adjacent to the chest and descend the path, taking out the four Giant Rats along the way. Pay attention to your surroundings:
- Stone Boulders on the west hide more Rune Essence.
- An upper-level room to the east contains a chest and a glowing statue essential for unlocking the Staff of Light.
- Head through the northern door to the next Vault Core area.
To reach the upper room, cast Windstep to collect chest rewards and interact with the important statue before returning to the main area.
Next, go to the northern door and defeat another set of foes, including:
- A vault of four Guardians guarding a chest.
- Subsequently moving past the northern door.
- Confronting another guard before descending the stairs.
- Eliminating two Giant Rats while avoiding fire traps.
- Engaging three more Vault Guardians.
Now that the initial threats are eliminated, players can explore three new rooms — northern, eastern, and western. To navigate efficiently, go through the northern door and follow the steps below:
- Avoid the fire traps.
- Proceed westward and take the stairs.
- Crouch to maneuver beneath the rocks.
- Defeat the enemies inside the room.
- Collect the chest and operate the lever to unlock an adjacent gate.
Return to the earlier area but this time veer to the east. Use a Pickaxe to break through the Stone Boulders obstructing the door, and proceed to:
- Collect the chest inside.
- Navigate through the eastern door.
- Evade fire traps while confronting the Giant Rat and Vault Guardians.
- Utilize your dodging skills to bypass additional traps.
- Claim the Vault Core and maneuver past the rest of the traps and locks.
Securing Vault Core #3
After unlocking the previously shut door, utilize the adjacent door and pull the lever to unlock a new shortcut. This lever will also give access to the boss door within the Vault. Defeat the formidable Vault Archon protecting the third and final Vault Core, marking your completion of the Vault exploration.
