Revisiting Jasontheween’s Racism Allegations Against Adin Ross as Kick Streamer Challenges FaZe Clan Member After Twitch Unban

Adin Ross Addresses Past Racism Allegations During Reunion with FaZe Clan

On April 1, 2025, popular streamer Adin Ross made headlines by rejoining his fellow FaZe Clan members, including Maxwell “Plaqueboymax,”Jerry “Silky,”and Jason “Jasontheween,”shortly after his Twitch ban was lifted. The conversation took a confrontational turn as Ross tackled the racism allegations that Jasontheween had leveled against him the previous year.

Background on the Controversy

The tensions between the two stem from comments Jasontheween made on July 7, 2024, where he labeled Ross as both misogynistic and racist. He further ridiculed Ross’s fanbase, known as the “AR Loyals,”encouraging his audience to laugh at them. These remarks ignited a heated debate within the streaming community.

“‘Adin is literally better than your ugly a**.’ Bro, if better as in more racist than me… if we had a competition on how much more racist (he is) than me, more misogynistic – yeah, he beat me, bro. He beat me.”‘L, your mum.’ Adin Ross viewer! Everyone, point and laugh! Everyone f**king point and laugh!”

Following the backlash from these comments, the day after he posted them, Jasontheween expressed concern regarding his personal information being leaked, which he attributed to Ross’s online following. He made it clear that he harbored no personal grievances against Ross but criticized the overall atmosphere of his community since his transition to the Stake-backed streaming platform, Kick.

“You all need to go and apply for real f**king jobs! They’ll end up proving my point, too, because they might see this and end up doxing me again. But that’s just proving my point, the fact that you all are way too deep in. I have no problem with Adin. But his community, obviously, since he switched to Kick, (has) become a lot more edgy… and giving him a bad rep.”

Clashing Perspectives During the Livestream

In a livestream conversation on April 1, Ross took the opportunity to address the comments made by Jasontheween directly. He expressed that while he had previously harbored animosity toward Jasontheween due to the latter’s allegations, he considered having a discussion offline to clear the air.

“(Jasontheween says, ‘I mean, me and him, there’s no problem. I see that he’s a nice guy. But it’s like, it’s hard to change your community…’) Okay, Jason, there was a time you called me racist, right? You called me racist. So my community, at one time, did not like you for that. So when you call me racist… this is why I wanted to talk off-stream. Right? But here’s the thing, right, you called me racist. And I’m not saying… wait, what?”

In addition to addressing these allegations, Adin Ross reaffirmed his commitment to continuing his streaming career on Kick, even after being reinstated on Twitch following a two-year ban.
