The eagerly anticipated version 2.5 update of Reverse 1999 is scheduled for a worldwide launch on April 24, 2025. Coinciding with this release is a special celebration marking the one-and-a-half-year anniversary of the game. Bluepoch Games has unveiled the “1.5th Anniversary Special Version – Benefits,”featuring an array of exciting events and rewards. Players known as Timekeepers will have an opportunity to earn various complimentary goodies, including a unique garment and 40 pulls.

Running from April 24 to May 29, 2025, this event allows Timekeepers to log in during this window to receive an exclusive garment along with Records from the Jade Hunt for Windsong of Star Afflatus.
2. Riding Out the Storm
Available permanently after April 24, 2025, this event rewards Timekeepers based on their total login days since October 26, 2023. The breakdown is as follows:

This event is active from April 24 to May 29, 2025. Players logging in will receive a variety of rewards, including:
- Cut-to-fit Garment: Offers a 390 Crystal Drops discount when purchasing garments.
- Scenery Coupon: Provides a 50% discount on Suitcase Settings at Miracle Mart.
- Ticket Collection: Grants Old Tickets for exchanges at Miracle Mart.
4. Like Spring Thunder
This event occurs from April 24 to May 29, 2025, allowing Timekeepers to log in and obtain Decatone – Moonbeam Guardian for 10 summons, usable on the Moonbeam Guardian banner.
5. Behind the Lens
Consisting of two segments, this sign-in event occurs from April 24 to May 8, and again from May 8 to May 29, 2025. Timekeepers can earn a total of 20 Unilogs by logging in during both periods.
6. Between Rainy Seasons
Available from April 24 to May 29, 2025, players can receive valuable growth materials and Decibel levels for the 2.5 version of Roar Jukebox by participating in this event.
7. Han Zhang’s Treasury
Structured in three phases—Fortune Phase I, II, and III—players can engage with Han Zhong, complete designated tasks or open a Laisee Bowl to gather Laisee. Collecting enough Laisee unlocks various rewards, including Path of Insight x 1, a Limited Dynamic Portrait – Lantern Parade, and additional growth materials.
When logging in during version 2.5, players will receive an additional 500 Clear Drops and the Fortune Knot Lantern collectible. The detailed schedule for each phase is:

8. Illuminated Blessings
This event will take place from May 11 to May 18, 2025, offering players daily opportunities to draw on lanterns and receive blessings from companions within the suitcase. Major rewards include Clear Drops and exclusive buildings.
9. Furnace Store
Scheduled from April 24 to May 3, 2025, Timekeepers can find Han Zhong through the Psychube Shop and various counters. The store provides numerous rewards, predominantly Exquisite Growth Materials.
10. Shehudo Parade Souvenir
Accessible from April 24 to May 22, 2025, participants can log in to receive Decatone – Ripples on the Water x 1. This gift will be delivered to players via their in-game mail. Note that the Decatone expires on May 22, 2025, and should be utilized prior.
11. A Trip in the Late Spring
From April 30 to May 10, 2025, logging in for 10 days during this event rewards Clear Drops x 180 and a limited building.
12. Greetings from the Suitcase
This event, active from April 24 to May 29, 2025, comprises tasks that players must complete with the corresponding Arcanist. Successfully finishing these tasks can yield up to 1800 Clear Drops.
New Events Featuring in the Version 2.5 Update
The highlight of the version 2.5 update is the main event, “Showdown in Chinatown.”The normal difficulty Story mode opens from April 24 to May 26, 2025, while hard mode launches between May 1 and May 26, 2025. Players will be able to access the event shop, Neighborhood Party, during the phase from April 24 to May 29, 2025.
By completing story stages, missions, and tasks, Timekeepers can gather Gossip Notes, which are exchangeable for various in-game items, including a new 6-star Reverse 1999 Psychube, Ready on Call.
Additionally, players can earn Gossip Notes through tasks in the sub-event, The Old Theater, available from April 24 to May 26, 2025.

- When the Alarm Sounds: A free challenge mode running from May 1 to May 29, 2025, accessible after completing the main story, Nouvelles et Textes pour Rein. Rewards include Gluttony and Insight Materials.
- Sow and Reap: Explore Liang Yue’s character story, available from April 24 to May 29, 2025, and earn Clear Drops and growth materials.
- Great Trickster: Nore’s character story becomes available from April 8 to May 29, 2025, offering Clear Drops and growth materials.
