A recent in-depth blog post has revealed substantial enhancements and gameplay adjustments coming to Call of Duty: Warzone – all set to coincide with Season 3. Although Black Ops 6 enthusiasts will gain early access on April 2, players of Warzone should prepare for a considerable 24-hour downtime as service for Verdansk will be temporarily halted. However, once the servers are back online, players will be able to explore an updated Verdansk, revitalized with stunning visuals after a hiatus of over three years.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 – Complete Season 3 Roadmap
Following an unexpected delay earlier this month, Activision has officially detailed the exciting new content arriving for Black Ops 6 with the start of Season 3 on April 2. Included in the launch will be three brand-new multiplayer maps, which feature a nostalgic remastered version of the classic Firing Range. Additionally, players can look forward to the debut of two other maps: Barrage, a fresh 6v6 combat arena set amid a Vietnam War backdrop in 1968, and Nomad, a compact 6v6 and 2v2 battlefield situated within the ruins of an Afghan stronghold. Moreover, two more maps, including a novel variant of Nuketown, will be introduced in a mid-season update.

Recent leaks have confirmed additional new weaponry set to feature in Season 3. Notably, players can expect to see iconic weapons from 2019’s Modern Warfare reboot, such as the CR-56 AMAX Assault Rifle and the HDR Sniper Rifle, included in the Season 3 Battle Pass. Moreover, players who log in to Call of Duty: Warzone during the downtime will receive the Kilo 141 Assault Rifle. As part of an in-season event, fans can also unlock the Ladra SMG, Nail Gun, and Kali Sticks. Additionally, the Grau 5.56 will be available in the form of a conversion kit for the Swat 5.56, which includes the Monolithic Suppressor in the Battle Pass.
Along with new maps and weapons, players will also have the opportunity to engage in two exciting new game modes: Sharpshooter and Demolition. Sharpshooter is a free-for-all mode where all participants utilize the same loadout that changes every 45 seconds, promising to keep gameplay unpredictable and thrilling. In contrast, Demolition tasks players with alternating responsibilities to attack and defend two bomb sites, incorporating strategic planning into the fast-paced action.

As the details unfold, players can expect even more thrilling offerings, including a new Zombies map, innovative perks, and the return of the Death Machine scorestreak. With a wealth of content spanning Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, Season 3 is poised to deliver an exhilarating experience for players across all game modes.
