Plot Overview

Set against the backdrop of Sheffield, Reunion follows the harrowing journey of Daniel Brennan, portrayed by Gurney, a deaf man who seeks redemption after being imprisoned. The character grapples with profound feelings of isolation, caught between the hearing world and the deaf community that has turned its back on him.

In a poignant twist, Brennan’s only real connection is with his estranged daughter, Carly, played by Lara Peake. Their relationship has been severed for over a decade due to his incarceration. The tension escalates as Christine, played by Anne-Marie Duff, anxiously seeks to uncover the truth about Brennan’s past. Joining the cast is Eddie Marsan, who plays Christine’s protective partner, Stephen Renworth, and Rose Ayling-Ellis as Miri, Christine’s daughter.
