Release Date for Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Announced

Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 will be available on April 4, 2025. Mizutsune

  • Unlock Requirements: Hunter Rank 21 and up. Players must speak with Kanya in the Scarlet Forest to initiate the Mizutsune mission.

The Mizutsune makes its grand entrance in the Forbidden Lands as part of TU1. Trailers showcased its formidable bubble-based attacks and highlighted an intense turf war with Uth Duna. Players can expect to earn new gear from this Leviathan’s addition.

Arch-tempered Rey Dau

  • Unlock Requirements: Hunter Rank 50 and above.

The Arch-tempered Rey Dau makes its debut in MH Wilds as part of a special event quest. This version is notably stronger than the standard tempered variant and offers new gear for dedicated hunters eager to enhance their arsenal.

Zoh Shia

  • Unlock Requirements: Must be Hunter Rank 50 or higher. Access the Zoh Shia quest after completing a preceding quest available at HR 50.

Initially featured only once during the story mode, Zoh Shia will now have a repeatable quest available with this update. Adventurers can engage in the Zoh Shia mission, which can be accessed via the Environment Overview under the title “Dragontorch S.: Zoh Shia appeared!”Additionally, Zoh Shia can be found in the Ruins of Wyveria during the Wyvern’s Wakening event, and players can forge exclusive Hunter and Palico equipment from this creature.

The Grand Hub

  • Unlock Requirements: Hunter Rank 16 or higher. Speak to Tetsuzan in Suja, located at the Peaks of Accord.

In the newly introduced Grand Hub, players can enjoy various activities including arm wrestling, participating in the Barrel Bowling mini-game, and attending nighttime performances by the Diva.

Alongside these highlights, Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 will also introduce Arena Quests, allowing hunters to compete globally based on completion times, modifications to Alma’s outfit, free DLC such as classic gestures, Cosmetic DLC Pack 1, and new Camp Gear options, among other enhancements.
