According to a report by Deadline, Rami Malek’s latest action film, The Amateur, is expected to finish its opening weekend with a three-day gross of approximately $32.2 million. This figure comprises a domestic collection of $15 million, where it debuted at the No. 3 spot in North America, trailing behind both The King of Kings and A Minecraft Movie. The film also garnered $17.2 million from international markets.
Despite its achievement of becoming one of only 19 films released in 2025 to surpass the $30 million mark globally, the box office performance falls short when compared to the film’s production budget of $60 million.
