The Pokemon Horizons Celebration Event is set to kick off in Pokemon GO during the third week of April, introducing players to Tinkaton and its evolutions. The event promises a plethora of engaging bonuses, themed research quests, and an exclusive opportunity to catch Pikachu adorned in Cap’s Hat, which possesses the Charged Attack Volt Tackle.

Overview of the Pokemon Horizons Celebration Event
Event Schedule, Time, and Bonuses
The Pokemon Horizons Celebration Event starts on Wednesday, April 16, at 10 AM local time and will run until Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 8 PM local time. Participants can look forward to the following exciting bonuses:
- Increased frequency of Team GO Rocket balloons.
- Eggs will hatch at half the usual distance when placed in Incubators during the event.
- Enhanced chances of encountering shiny variants of Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat and Floragato with a hat featuring Liko’s pin.
- Surprise encounters with characters and Pokemon featured in Pokemon Horizons while taking snapshots.
New Pokemon Introductions
Trainers will see the debut of the following Pokemon in Pokemon GO during the event:
- Tinkatink
- Tinkatuff
- Tinkaton
- Floragato wearing a hat with Liko’s pin (shiny version possible)
To evolve Tinkatink, trainers will need 25 Tinkatink Candy to turn it into Tinkatuff, and 100 Tinkatink Candy for its final evolution into Tinkaton.

During the Pokemon Horizons Celebration Event, players can look forward to hatching the following Pokemon from 7 km eggs:
- Elekid (shiny variant available)
- Hatenna
- Charcadet (shiny variant available)

Post-event, Tinkatink will also be available in 10 km eggs.
