Mega Latios and Mega Latias are part of the select few Legendary Pokemon with this enhanced forme available in the game. To help you catch them both, here are Mega Latios and Mega Latias weaknesses and most effective counters in Pokemon Go.
While Mega Evolutions have been around for a while in Pokemon Go now, this more powerful version for Legendaries is scarce, with only a few like Mewtwo and Rayquaza having it available.
Latios and Latios, the Eon Duo Legendaries introduced in Gen 3’s Hoenn region, will be coming back in plenty of Raids alongside their Mega Evolutions.
Both of them will be part of the Pokemon Go Tour 2024 event that will take place in February. From January 31, 2024 until February 15, 2024 Mega Latios and Mega Latias will be part of the 5-Star Raid Battles as well as the Mega Raids.
More so, Mega Latios will appear during the Raid Hour on January 31, 2024 from 6 pm until 7 pm local time, while Mega Latias will do the same but on February 7, 2024.

Mega Latios & Mega Latias weaknesses in Pokemon Go
Mega Latios and Mega Latias are both Dragon/Psychic-type Pokemon, which means they’re weak to Bug, Dark, Dragon, Fairy, Ghost, and Ice-type attacks.
As for resistances, you’ll want to avoid using Electric, Fighting, Fire, Grass, Psychic, and Water-type attacks wherever possible, as they won’t do much damage.

If you don’t have any of them, don’t worry – simply focus on your strongest Pokemon that can target Latios and Latias’ type weaknesses.
