Here’s how Pokemon Go players can complete the new Chansey Community Day Special Research tasks, plus the rewards that come with the challenges.
The Pokemon Go Chansey Community Day event on February 4, 2024, will give players an increased chance to catch the Gen I Pokemon and obtain a tanky Blissey, as well.
As part of the event, Niantic also dropped a limited-time Special Research called The Shape of Happiness as part of the Community Day event in Pokemon Go.

Step 1 of 4
- Make 5 Nice Throws – 20 Chansey Candy
- Catch 15 Chansey – Chansey Encounter
- Power up Pokemon 10 times – 15 Poke Balls
Rewards: 2,000 Stardust, Chansey Encounter, 1 Incense
Step 2 of 4
- Transfer 10 Pokemon – Chansey Encounter
- Catch 15 Chansey – 30 Chansey Candy
- Use 3 Pinap Berries to catch Pokemon – 10 Pinap Berries
Rewards: 1,500 XP, Chansey Encounter, 1 Lure Module
Step 3 of 4
- Make 3 Great Curveball Throws – 15 Great Balls
- Transfer 10 Pokemon – 1 Lucky Egg
- Evolve 1 Chansey – 50 Chansey Candy
Rewards: 2,500 XP, 15 Ultra Balls, 1 Rocket Radar

- Claim Reward! – 2 Silver Pinap Berries
