Paul Feig Signs First-Look Film Deal with Lionsgate

Details of the Agreement
Adam Fogelson, the chairman of Lionsgate, shared the news at the exhibition, highlighting Feig’s impressive credentials. The deal, executed through Feig’s production company, Feigco Entertainment, co-managed with producing partner Laura Fischer, is set to enhance their collaboration on future projects.
“From his breakthrough with Bridesmaids to his most recent movie The Housemaid, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Paul for 15 years,” Fogelson said. “His sense of character and story are among the best in the business — that’s why his movies are so relentlessly entertaining. Paul and his producing partner Laura are a formidable team, and I’m delighted to be expanding our relationship.”
Feig’s Vision and Commitment
Expressing his enthusiasm about the partnership, Feig remarked, “The reason I wanted to call Lionsgate my home is because working with Adam, Nathan [Kahane], Erin [Westerman], and the team is always an incredibly positive experience. Their commitment to theatrical is incredibly important to me, and their support and encouragement to make the movies I’ve wanted to bring to audiences has been tremendously empowering. My films are better for their involvement, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be in business with them.”
Upcoming Projects
Feig directed and produced the much-anticipated sequel, Another Simple Favor, for Lionsgate and Amazon MGM Studios, featuring Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively reprising their roles from the 2018 original. This film is set to premiere on Prime Video on May 1, following its debut as the opening feature at the SXSW festival.
In addition, Feig is developing another noteworthy project, The Housemaid, which is based on the best-selling novel by Freida McFadden. This psychological thriller stars notable actors such as Sydney Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, and Brandon Sklenar, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on Christmas Day.

Beyond films, Feig has also produced several acclaimed television series in partnership with Lionsgate’s Television Group. His credits include popular shows like Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Minx, Love Life, and Welcome to Flatch.
