Path Of Exile 2 Guide: Tips to Expand Your Inventory Size

Embarking on your journey in Path of Exile 2 can be overwhelming due to the myriad skills and items available for your character. However, players often find themselves facing a significant challenge: the extremely limited inventory space.

Effective inventory management is a crucial aspect of gameplay that many players find frustrating, as space fills up rapidly. Unfortunately, expanding this inventory is not straightforward. This guide is designed to assist you in navigating the complexities of inventory size enhancement in Path of Exile 2.

Expanding Inventory Size in Path of Exile 2 (Titans Only)

It’s important to note that Path of Exile 2 lacks a straightforward mechanism for inventory expansion. Players will not discover items specifically designed to increase inventory space. However, players can unlock additional capacity by mastering certain Titan Ascendancy skills.

The Titan class is a subclass of the Warrior. Players opting for other classes will unfortunately miss out on the opportunity to increase their inventory size. Warriors embarking on this quest must approach the Trial of the Sekhemas first and successfully complete it to unlock the Titan Ascendancy.

Next, you will need to allocate one of your Ascendancy Points to unlock the Colossal Capacity skill. This investment results in 20 additional slots becoming accessible in your inventory. Although this may seem modest, it remains the sole method to increase your inventory space.

Strategies for Efficient Inventory Management in Path of Exile 2

If you’re engaging with any class other than Titan, you’ll need to adapt to limited inventory constraints while grinding in Path of Exile 2. Depending on your current objectives, different strategies may be required for effective resource management.

For players focused on accumulating currency, follow these steps:

  1. Gather items until your inventory is at capacity.
  2. Open a portal back to town.
  3. Sell unneeded items and store anything you wish to keep.
  4. Return to your quest for battle.

As your currency loses its worth and you pivot towards acquiring superior gear, your strategy should shift accordingly. At this stage, aim to collect only valuable items and disregard less important ones within Path of Exile 2. New players should prioritize Magic items, while those in the late game should seek out Rare gear to maximize efficiency and success.
