Official Patch Notes for Update 4.5

Three New Units

Update 4.5 introduces three exciting new units:

Vanguard Evolution: Song Jinwu and Igros
Dungeon Unit: Choy Jong En (Guild Leader)
Worldlines Floor 50 Reward: Friran (Teacher)

Introducing the Ant Island Dungeon

Dive into the new Ant Island Dungeon where players have the chance to earn Monarch Tokens and secure the elusive Secret Choy Jong En unit. The dungeon features 30 waves of intense battles against adversaries such as the Ant Queen and Ant King, utilizing powerful Modifier Cards to boost gameplay.

Tunnel Mechanic: Every few seconds, an enemy ant-spawning tunnel opens at random locations on the map. Players must interact with these tunnels to destroy them before they become overwhelming.
Starter Cards: Players receive Lifeline, regenerating one Life Stock every five waves, and Exterminator, which boosts damage by 50% for each open Ant Tunnel.
Red Key: This key has a 10% chance to drop after winning a match and can also be purchased at the Dungeon shop using Monarch Tokens. Completing its questline converts it into the Elixir of Life, pivotal for evolving Mythic Song Jinwu into Vanguard Song Jinwu and Igros.

New Dungeon Shop

Players can now utilize Monarch Tokens collected from the Ant Island Dungeon to shop for various items, including:

Red Key
Red Jewel
Belu Familiar
Shadow Flying Ant Mount
Stat Chips
Trait Rerolls and more

Visit the Song Jinwu NPC located in the Raids area to access the new Dungeon Shop and start shopping!

New Boss Bounties

Interact with Dr. Okabu in the Play Area to accept exciting new Boss Bounties! Each player can take on up to 10 bounties daily, allowing for resets aligned with the Daily Challenge and Gold Shop. Target specific bosses to earn rewards such as Trait Rerolls, Gems, and more.

In-Game Mailbox

A new in-game mailbox feature has been added to help players stay informed. This tool is designed to send announcements, including text, images, and videos, as well as special rewards directly to players, reducing reliance on external communication platforms like Discord. Access the mailbox by clicking the Mailbox button in the lobby UI under your Profile.

Cosmetics Loadout Feature

Now players can effortlessly save and load their favorite cosmetic setups! This feature is located within the Units UI, adjacent to the Skins button, allowing for managing your cosmetic combinations easily.

Worldlines Season 3 Reset

All players have been reset to Floor 1, and Isdead is now unavailable. Floor rewards previously available have returned, with Secret Friran taking Isdead’s place as the new Floor 50 reward.

New Achievements Added

This update consists of six new Achievements offering exciting rewards such as Trait Rerolls, Gems, and more:

Story Achievement: The Many Year Cursed War
Boss Rush Achievements: Showdown Against the King, Staving Off the Darkness
Raid Achievement: The Body Parts of WHO
Dungeon Achievement: I’ll Need a Big Can of Raid
Unit Achievement: Goddess of Lightning

Profile Banner Enhancements

Players can now showcase their profile banners on leaderboards viewed by other users. Four new banner designs have been introduced, with three crafted by artist Calla and one by Oniix:

Yuruicha: Unlockable through the Yuruicha Unit Achievement.
Goddess of Love: Available for purchase in the Customize menu for 500 Trophies.
Mankind’s Weakest Hunter: Awarded upon acquiring the new Song Jinwu and Igros unit.
Pawsome: Purchase for 30 trophies in the Customize menu.

Bug Fixes, Changes, and Quality of Life Improvements in Update 4.5

Quality of Life Updates

A new weighted banner system enables a higher chance of featuring long-unfeatured units.
Crowd Control effects including Slow and Stun have been revamped with a prioritization system.
Worldline LB rewards have been revised, improving incentives for Top 1-12 and Top 13-32 players.
New skin and mount bundles for Friera and Shadow Dragon Mount are now available.
Numerous interface enhancements, such as showing passive percentages for Familiars and new information displays in match.
Improvements to navigation and user interaction in both mobile and desktop settings.

Bug Fixes

Corrected various functionality errors for specific abilities and character interactions.
Resolved issues preventing certain players from accessing or unlocking specific gameplay features.
